Meet our eight artist, B.A.L.D. (Bryan Anthony Lopez Designs) from SoCal.
BALD has been in the custom toy scene for a few years now. He first found out about it one day while stumbling on a website. Amazed and drawn to the idea of art and customization on a vinyl blank, he did some extensive researching and found out that there was a whole new world of designer vinyl toys and the custom toy scene. He decided to join the scene and work on his first blank.
As a self taught artist, he has been involved with graphic and web design for a very long time. The transition from graphic and web design to toys was a huge leap for him. Although it was a major jump into the scene, BALD has immersed himself into the culture and currently co-owns Custom Toy Union, a toy forum that allows other toy artists and fans to collaborate or discuss about custom toys.
When BALD isn't destroying his toys and wrecking havoc on the streets, he spends time with his wife and son…and possibly his toys.
